We have included some videos to help you get your child logged on. There are also printed instructions at the end of this page.
How to logon to Google Classroom using a computer.
How to logon to Google Classroom using an IOS Device (iPad / iPhone)
How to logon to Google Classroom using an Android Device
This works in much the same way as iOS. Make sure that you have selected your child's school account (@wimborneacademytrust) in google classroom. It may ask you to create a work profile to enable this account. We will try and upload a video for android as soon as possible.
Your child has a google account they use in school. Their username is in the following format. If a pupil was in Year 5 and their name was John Smith there username would be.
Year 5 pupils usernames begin with 19, Year 6 begins with 18, Year 7 begins with 17, Year 8 begins with 16.
Your child should have this written in the front of their diary. Their password was selected by them and should also be written in their diary.
To login to google classroom they need to login to google by first navigating to the goolge.com homepage. They can then click sign-in button at the top right of the screen.
Pupils need to enter their username and password. Then click on the 9 squares icon above and choose google classroom.
Pupils will now see the google classrooms they are already part of. They will be used to using this in their computing lessons and will most likely already have their computing classroom set up.
