Cover Supervisor Grade 6 (SCP6-9) (£19,698-£20,903 pro rata / £10.21-£10.83ph)

Required as soon as possible. We are looking to appoint a cover supervisor to supervise and support pupils in learning activities during short-term or unforeseen absence of their usual teacher, across the school.
We seek to appoint a person who is enthusiastic, well-motivated and can work as part of a team. Applicants should be committed to the promotion of high expectations in teaching and learning, behaviour and be willing to support the Christian ethos of the school. The successful candidate should have the necessary skills to be able to take charge of a sole group or class of children, engaging and supporting them in their learning and managing their behaviour to ensure a constructive learning environment in line with the school’s policies. Ideally, we would be looking for someone qualified to a degree level (or equivalent) and who is looking towards teaching as a career. We will provide relevant training and experience to enable the successful candidate to successfully begin teacher training within 2 - 3 years which makes this an incredibly exciting opportunity.

DT Technician - Grade 5 (SCP4-6) - 10hpw term time only
Required as soon as possible. We are looking to appoint a DT Technician to work within our Resistant Materials, Food Technology and Textiles rooms.
We seek to appoint a person who is enthusiastic, well-motivated and can work as part of a team. The postholder will be responsible for co-ordinating the use and maintenance of practical resources and facilities, and providing specialist technical support and advice in meeting the practical needs of the curriculum in order to maintain safe learning environments. They will be expected to be in possession of an advanced vocational or academic qualification in a relevant subject area or possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant work area.
